Choose a game
Start with Ball Sort Master if you want a written explanation of legal moves and a worked example before playing. Ball Sort Puzzle opens the other game in this collection. Use each game’s own menu to check its help options; the two titles are not interchangeable saves.
Which ball-sort game should I open?
Ball Sort Master — start with the move guide
Its detail page explains matching top colors, empty tubes and available space, with a red-over-blue example. Choose it when you want the rules explained before opening the puzzle. The guide does not promise unlimited Undo or extra tubes.
Ball Sort Puzzle — try the other title
Open this separate ball-sorting game when you want another board to explore. Check its own opening instructions and help menu. We have not compared the two games’ difficulty curves or level counts, so this is a choice of game rather than a hardest-or-easiest ranking.
A legal move is not always a useful move
In Ball Sort Master, a top ball needs an empty destination or a matching top color with room. Suppose red covers blue, and another tube has red on top with one space. Moving red there exposes blue while leaving an empty tube available. Compare that with spending the empty tube immediately.
Before using your last empty tube
Look at the colors underneath the balls you can currently move. Ask which move exposes a matching color and where that color can go next. This planning example explains a decision; it is not a guaranteed solution to every board.
Balls, water and shelf sorting
Ball sorting moves balls between containers. Water sorting pours colored layers, while shelf sorting rearranges objects. Choose by the action you want to perform, not just the word “sort” in a title. The two cards above remain ball-sort games.
