Choose a game

Choose Sudoku if you enjoy eliminating candidate digits. Try Nonogram to turn row and column clues into a picture, Kakuro for sums with distinct digits, or Hashi Bridges for connecting numbered islands. Each page explains its own rules and controls.

A number can mean four different things

A Sudoku digit is a value to place. A Kakuro clue is the total for a run of cells. A Nonogram clue gives the length of a filled run. A Bridges number counts connections to an island. Read the meaning of the clue before applying a strategy from another puzzle.

Try one deduction before using a hint

On the Sudoku page, compare two candidates with the column and box. On the Nonogram page, a five-square line with clues 2 2 has only one arrangement. These small examples show how to make a justified move before attempting a full board.

Start with a move you can verify

Sudoku shows why 6 fits the first square of row 4 in Challenge 1. Nonogram explains why the fourth row must be two filled squares, a gap and two more. Kakuro works through its first crossing-sum board, while Hashi Bridges explains the single connected chain in its opening puzzle. Each walkthrough uses the actual game’s starting board.

Frequently asked questions

Is every game here Sudoku?

No. Only games labeled Sudoku use their stated Sudoku rules. Nonogram, Kakuro and Bridges are separate puzzles with different goals.

Where should I start with picture logic?

Nonogram begins with 5×5 puzzles. Its page explains filled runs, required gaps and the overlap technique before the later 7×7 boards.

Which puzzle should I choose if I do not want arithmetic?

Try Sudoku for digit placement, Nonogram for filled-run clues, or Bridges for spatial connections. Kakuro is the one that asks you to add digits to match sum clues.
