Turn a mismatch into a remembered pair
A mismatch reveals information about two positions. Use that information on the next turn instead of opening two unfamiliar cards again.
- Suppose you reveal a leaf in the upper-left position and a different picture in the lower-right position. Remember both locations while the cards remain visible.
- When you later reveal another leaf, choose the remembered upper-left card as its partner.
- During the short mismatch display, wait for the two cards to close before choosing another card.
- During the next level’s preview, connect each picture with a row and column. Prioritize pairs whose two positions you can remember confidently.

Leaf is an example picture label. The mismatch allowance is separate from the preview countdown; finding a pair does not consume a mismatch.

Why can I not flip a third card immediately?
After a mismatch, the two revealed cards stay visible briefly so you can study them. Wait for them to close. Cards also cannot be flipped during the opening preview.
