How to play Tangram online
- Select a loose piece and compare it with the silhouette.
- Drag it into position, then use Rotate or Flip to align its edges.
- Release close to a matching position or press Fit piece. Fit all seven pieces to unlock the next challenge.
Controls
Drag with a mouse or touch. Select piece cycles loose pieces; Rotate turns a quarter turn and Flip mirrors the selected shape. Arrow buttons or arrow keys move it; Fit piece attempts placement. Undo removes the last fitted piece during a running puzzle.
A tip before you start
Start with the two large triangles and use the square to identify right angles. A parallelogram may need flipping as well as rotation. Identical triangles can fill each other’s matching slots.

Early silhouettes show internal boundaries and begin with three pieces already fitted. Later boards hide those boundaries, reduce starter pieces to zero and ask you to rotate more of the pieces. The hint allowance decreases at every level, from twenty to one.
